Feature Story

Welcome to the Young Dressage Association!!  This club was first established in 1974 and has grown from strength to strength over the years.  The loyal committee and members have worked very hard to establish a permanent ground at Bendick Murrell (between Young and Cowra NSW).  We currently have 5 sand arenas with plans for another shortly.  There are 16 new rubber lined stables, wash bays, club house, shower and camping facilities.  The annual Championships are held in April, with the exception of this year, 2008.  Due to the EI repurcussions and the financial impact of the drought, the Championships have been cancelled.  They will be replaced by a one-day Official/Associate competition.  We will also hold approximately 6 Official & Associate competition days and also training and protocol days throughout the year.

 

We welcome new riders from any area - our members come from hundreds of kilometres from our base - Griffith, South Coast, Bathurst, Canberra, etc.  All grades of riders and horses are catered for - our Junior competitions are well attended, and ponies are also growing in number.
